Legitimate Home Business
Legitimate Home Business
What stops people from going after their dreams? Fear of the unknown is probably a big reason. The same could be said for why people don’t start a legitimate home business. Let’s discuss some of the reasons why people refuse to take advantage of the many home business opportunities that are available. It may help people address these reasons and take charge of their life.
A legitimate home business doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive, but it could be. One reason why people don’t start a home business is the cost involved. It can take money to go into business, although many are very affordable to set up. Many only have a small start-up fee to become an associate or distributor. However, what many people don’t realize is that money will be required each month if you plan to build your business. It does take money and a financial budget must be part of your business plan. You can use the Internet as a resource to find a lot of information on how to manage your business efficiently.
Another reason people think that a legitimate home business might be difficult to handle is because they lack a certain creative spark. Creativity definitely helps a lot, but you also need a basic knowledge of how to operate a business. Now, I am not saying that you need an Ivy League school degree, but you do need self discipline and perseverance to keep up the pace required to build a successful home based business. You gain the knowledge as you go - through friends, associates, research, and even trial and error.
How does your family feel about your legitimate home business? Sometimes it can tear families apart, and other times it can bring families closer together. It will require a lot of your time, especially when starting out, so which category do you find your family fitting into? Support from a spouse can be key in determining the success of your home business. Especially when it comes to the financial aspects, because most of the time there will be money going out long before it is coming in. Make sure your spouse realizes how much actual money you will be putting out on a monthly basis as you grow your business.
Get a jump start on your business. Get into a business where you can buy customers and start earning in your business much sooner. And the expense you have in acquiring these customers is considerably less than it would normally cost you. Take a look at Tri Power Team.

Home Based Business Advice
Advice for setting up or up-grading your home based business:
One important consideration is having a location in your home that is dedicated to your home based business. You can use this as a tax write off, which includes a % of square footage and then divides that up for a percent of heat, lights, water, etc. but the space must be for you home based business only. So if you do not have a room, then mark out an area that is Business ONLY to keep our friendly tax person happy.
Install a phone line dedicated to your home based business.
Decide on an answering service and in most cases it is required to have a 1-800 number for someone to take you seriously.
Organize your work space with great care. Make sure that you have sufficient space to meet your needs. Have what you need within reach and an excellent filing system as well as backup system for your PC.
If needed for your type of business, when scheduling appointments with clients, consider meeting at your client's office or renting a conference room to maintain a professional image. Or learn the new up to date technology of conferencing on the computer. It is fairly easy and not expensive if you use the right services.
Keep excellent records of entertainment and travel expenses. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tends to audit home based businesses more frequently—especially when they are writing off a variety of expenses, including the percentage of the mortgage or rent for your office space.
There are several good record keepers such as Day Timer®, Franklin Quest® and Day Planner that will help you keep track of your expenses. Use of an accountant or a CPA is recommended and can advise you on deductions you can take and records you must keep for the IRS. Talk with them before or early on in your business so that you are starting your record keeping off on a good track.
Set up an LLC so that your home assets and banking are completely separate from your home based business. It is easy and inexpensive for a lawyer to do it for you. Well worth the security.
Open a Business Banking account with your business name LLC on the checks.
As soon as possible also get two credit cards with your business name LLC
Set up a SAVINGS ACCOUNT for your home based business, remember keep it in a business LLC account. Build it up because when you least expect it, you will need it.
Develope your computer system, proper programs and decide who will handle your repairs and help as you need it. Check out their service and if possible talk to referrals. Do NOT just trust the Big Computer Stores to be there for you. You are usually not a person to them, just a broken piece of equipment and you go into the 'Q'. Trust me; a good computer person on your team is worth their weight in Gold. A good 2nd PC lap top that can multi task can be a life saver.
Discipline yourself. You must be a self-starter and follow a routine, just as if you were working for any other business. In many cases, you are the only person you can rely on to get the job done. Unless it's an emergency, do not baby-sit or chat with your neighbors.
There are literally thousands of people entering into a Home Based Business due to the sagging economy, massive business layoffs, and whole industries vanishing as work moves overseas. Families are needed in the past a second income for those little extras; families now need a steady income they can count on. I strongly suggest diversification (never put all your eggs in one basket).
Now it is time to look at a business …. Might I suggest you look at Its Good Business. It is solid, easy to work with (notice I didn't say you don't need to work) but we do work on a TEAM basis and you have a mentor to help you firm up how you want to work your internet Home Based Business. This is a very flexible business giving you many ways to make a good income and have freedom to be with your family and friends.

Home Business Opportunity
A Roadmap to Success – Home Based Business by Darrell Lischka
Part 1
Have you ever wanted to start a home based business? Do you know how to develop a passive residual income or start a home business? Why do you want a home based business? These are important questions you must ponder and give some thought to. How do I get started or where do I go to learn about all this stuff? If you are reading this, I hope it’s because you wish to build a peaceful residual income and take control of your life.
From all that I have learned, read and observed over the past 10 years in the network marketing profession, successful people have 3 common traits that they have to build a solid passive residual income.
Those 3 elements are:
(1) A big “Why”
(2) Heart
(3) Being Coachable
Without those 3 elements as a foundation, everything else doesn’t matter in my opinion. You see - those 3 critical traits sets the stage for building a successful home based business and going through the ups and downs of creating a residual income. One must seriously consider their “Why” – because it will require they invest 10-15 hours a week over the next 3 to 5 years minimum if they want a solid home business. If it’s only for the money, they will not last because money at some point in the future will not be the driving force to building a passive residual income. Your why is your core desire about why you want to invest so much time in a home based business and what is it that you truly want out of life. For example, it could be to have your significant other home with the kids on a full time basis. It could be to have a better quality of life for your family, taking an extra vacation, purchasing a new vehicle or all of the above.
In other words, is your “why” big enough to push you through those challenging times when your business is not going so well or its late at night and your tired in need of some sleep. Successful people have a big why and are willing to forgo some sleep, invest some extra time away from the family to get the business going. By the way, to have a successful home based business and develop a residual income, you will sacrifice some time with your family. It’s simply not possible to work full time, develop a home business and devote the same time to your family. I’m not suggesting this will last forever, but your why needs to be important enough that you understand the reason you are doing this home based business. It’s because you want a better quality of life.
The second element is you need to truly care about helping others succeed and having a heart. Help enough people get what they want and you will in time achieve your level of success in a home based business. If you are only in this for yourself, good luck. Over the years I have seen many people fail in our business who didn’t fully understand the truth in that line. They felt they didn’t need the “Personal Growth” material, all they needed were the mechanics, and the Nuts & Bolts, scripts etc and they would just “do it”. With a touch of arrogance perhaps they just felt they knew all about that stuff and were above taking the time to learn how to become more every day.
Leaders are readers and understand that nobody is ever finished that journey. That one major quality of all real leaders is that they constantly are working upon themselves to be better and more each day. Remember, this is a people business and you need to invest time in people and develop a relationship over the long term to create a truly successful home based business and have a solid residual income in network marketing.
The third element and perhaps one of the most important is how coachable are you. Our business is a “People Business”. We are in the business of attracting quality people and helping them enhance their lives by enhancing the lives of others. If you are the type of person that knows it all, good luck again. It doesn’t hurt you to let someone else help you be successful in your home based business. I learned this from a very good friend and my coach – Cameron Howard. We used to butt heads a lot many years ago and still do some days, but I can truly say without hesitation that I have learned so much from him and am very thankful that he invested time with me. A good coach and mentor will be your roadmap, invest time in you and help you become successful to the best of their abilities.
We must be coachable to attract other people that are also coachable. As we grow into a stronger position of leadership, we develop the skills to coach the coaches to coach the coachable. Everybody is always a Leader-In-Training and remains so.
So, are you coachable? Take a moment and look at the results in your life to date and ponder where you may have been more trainable and thus more successful. Perhaps you have read all “those” books and feel you know better. If you attract others just like yourself, and you will – are they going to succeed with their present attitudes and philosophies? Experience has proven to us that only those that are truly coachable grow into positions of leadership. All leaders are fully aware that they must first be followers and remain open minded to learning more always. Does that describe you?
A good coach and mentor, is about being a friend and creating a relationship, realizing it just takes time. Respect is earned. If we do not invest time in people we will not be successful, thus we will not be able to develop a solid residual income or have a successful and long lasting home based business. The secret is to develop the skill to know who best to invest our time with. People are an intangible thing. It takes time to truly get to know another person and even at that we only know most people somewhat. To further complicate matters, there is no way to know beforehand just who is going to be successful. There is no way to truly be sure if a person’s desire to BE Free is so strong that they will go through the obstacles on the path to success. Many people enter our home business with a ton of people handling skills, leadership experience, family needs etc, in short, all that one would think they need to be tremendously successful and they never do a thing. Others, with little experience etc just go out and “do it” because they want it so bad they will pay the price to learn the skills necessary to succeed.
There is no proven way to measure the “Right Stuff” of a person until they are actually in the field doing it. There are “leading indicators” that suggest the potential is there however. These take time to ascertain and become aware of. It can’t be done effectively and consistently in a 5 or 10 minute conversation. It just takes time to get to know people and for them to get to know us. If you want a solid home based business and a solid residual income, realize you need to invest time in people, develop respect for each other and be a friend.
All of the skills needed to build a peaceful residual income are learnable. Every single person reading this document can BE another success story and have a solid home based business. Everybody!
Have a great week everyone

It's All About the Leads
Written by - Corie Wallace - Marketng Strategy Specialist

"Marketing on Google is a tough gig. You have got to become very savvy in your education to learn everything that there is to know about leads, lead generation and leads generating systems. Your competition is making every effort to accomplish this, so unless you are willing to set your mind to working, then you will fall short of your goals in the home business market." - Butch Hamilton- SEO Master and successful Internet Entrepreneur
Internet Leads are no longer being used by just Internet Businesses. The competition has tightened as brokerage firms in this volatile economy seek as many alternative sources as possible to grow their businesses, leads and prospects. These are the professional salesmen calling the same leads you are buying, only they have the time and the resources to do it better and faster than you. These firms can purchase mass amounts of leads and generate conversions at a rate far more successfully for some very obvious reasons. They are the professionals, they get paid to do it, if they fail they don't succeed and if they don't succeed at conversions, they don't get paid. Brokers primarily get paid on 100% commission, if they don't close, they don't survive.
How does the average Network Marketer compete with these firms?
Lets look at what a typical brokerage firm would do before choosing to do business with a particular leads service.
To ensure they receive high quality Internet leads that they will invest in, brokers find and work closely with reputable lead providers. This requires a lot of research and monitoring and the full resources of their companies. Brokers then start to identify what types of leads they are interested in receiving leads for and then search and obtain the services of a leads provider that is most qualified to provide and supply them that specific type of leads. These types of leads cost far greater than you, the typical Network Marketing lead seeker is willing to spend.
The next step in their process is to contact the leads providers they are interested in and ask them these specific questions:
How are your leads generated?
Who else would receive the same leads I would?
How many companies receive those leas at the same time?
Does the company recycle leads from others?
Every Network Marketing lead seeker asks themselves these very questions, unfortunately it is after they have made a 150 phone calls and a 150 rejections. None of these calls had any interest in what you were offering, hardly a quality Business Opportunity lead.
Brokerage firms have the luxury of an additional step. Once they have selected their leads provider, brokers customize the filtering process so they obtain only those leads suitable for their market and be most likely to close. Their research process is ongoing and they monitor the performance of these business opportunity lead. They have the resources manpower and employees to ensure that this process takes place. If they find a leads service provider has under performing leads, they simply replace them with high performing lead service providers.
In order for you the Network Marketing leads seeker, to learn to generate your own leads. You would then have all the questions answered, avoid the rejecting and expense, and have a pipeline full of high quality, targeted and exclusive leads for your business opportunity.
